Awana Clubs
Awana is a children's program for Kindergarten through 6th grade that meets on Wednesday nights from 6:15 - 8:15 pm, September through May.
You can fill out the registration form here.
The program is divided into 2 groups.
Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Truth and Training (T&T) - 3rd though 6th grade
Each night consists of:
Opening and Flag Ceremony - We start with singing songs, pledging the flags and announcements.
Council Time - Each week a leader or special speaker teaches clubbers from God’s Word and shows them how to apply these principles to their lives.
Handbook Time - This is when the clubbers show their leaders what they have worked on in
their handbooks over the last week, including reciting the Bible verses they have memorized.
Game Time - Lastly, the clubbers have a chance to run off energy and have fun playing various games while learning sportsmanship and team work.
If you would like to talk to someone more about Marsh Corner's Awana program, please email us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to know more about the Awana program itself, they have a great website that you can check out here and a great section for parents and families here.
All of the staff of Marsh Corner Community Church’s Awana program know and love the Lord. They have also attended the Children & Youth Workers Orientation (CYWO) class as well as passed a police background check. We love your children and strive to do everything possible to keep them safe while in our care.
